Why We Say “Make Earth Like Heaven”

Updated: Jul 8

Why settle for surviving Earth when you were born to transform it?

“Make Earth Like Heaven” isn’t just a catchy slogan—it’s a Kingdom assignment. It’s rooted in the prayer that Jesus taught and modeled to His disciples: “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.” (Matthew 6:10)

In the Western Church culture, we have misinterpreted and incorrectly preached the Gospel message by making it about going to Heaven over bringing the Kingdom of Heaven down to Earth, transforming and subduing it, and occupying it until King Jesus' return, as He commissioned us to do. I call this "the 'Gospel' of Escapism." The core of this message is about escaping our life and the circumstances and difficulties of the world, not just bypassing Hell, but life in general, to reach Heaven. The problem with this false Gospel is that it creates a lack of accountability and action for our faith and relationship with Jesus, and its sole focus is getting out of the present to get to Heaven, rather than what Jesus preached, which was Heaven coming in and being released through us throughout the Earth. The Gospel isn’t about escapism. It’s about our identity in Christ and our restored relationship with Him and God the Father. Jesus didn’t just come to get us to Heaven—He came to get Heaven into us and through us, releasing the reality and glory of the Kingdom everywhere we go!

The culture of the Kingdom is Heaven’s culture—righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17).

The Gospel is more than salvation—it’s transformation. We’re called to reflect Jesus so that His nature, justice, and love become visible here on Earth, as it is in Heaven.

Jesus is not returning for a defeated Bride but a glorious one (Ephesians 5:27).

Heaven’s blueprint becomes Earth’s reality through obedient sons and daughters.
